Introduction
Hi, I’m Martina, a registered psychotherapist (qualifying). I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and have developed experience with clients who are figuring out how to move through life’s harder moments. What matters most to me in this work is connection. I believe therapy works best when someone feels genuinely seen and safe enough to be honest, so that’s the kind of space I try to build with every person I work with. If you’re carrying something specific or just trying to get to know yourself a little better, I’d be glad to sit with you in that process.

Get to Know Martina
Martina is passionate about helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, relationship challenges, and life’s many transitions.
She understands how scary it can feel to start therapy, especially when you’ve been holding so much on your own. Her practice is grounded in creating a safe space where clients can show up exactly as they are and begin making sense of what they’re experiencing.
Martina is especially passionate about the connection between trauma, the nervous system, and the mind-body relationship. When we experience chronic stress or overwhelming experiences, our bodies often continue carrying that impact long after the moment has passed. For Martina, therapy isn’t just about talking through what’s happened. It’s about understanding why the mind and body respond the way they do, learning to work with the nervous system instead of against it, and helping the body begin to feel safe again.
She doesn’t believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. Every person brings different experiences, strengths, and needs, so she tailors her approach to best support each client. Her hope is that therapy becomes a space where clients feel understood, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and leave each session feeling a little more connected to who they are.
Client Focus
Martina works with clients of all ages, starting from as young as 8 years old, through the teen years and into adulthood. She believes mental health is not about fixing what’s broken, but about building a stronger relationship with yourself at whatever stage of life you’re in. Whether a client is a child learning to name big feelings for the first time, a teen navigating identity and pressure, or an adult working through anxiety, trauma, or transition, Martina’s approach centers on growth, resilience, and self-understanding. She sees every client as capable of healing and change, and her role is to help create the conditions where that growth feels possible. Her hope is that each person who works with her leaves feeling more empowered, more connected to their own strengths, and more equipped to navigate whatever comes next.
