Antonietta Nesbit Miolla

Introduction

Hello, my name is Antonietta. I have worked in the field of education for over three decades, supporting individuals and families through learning, growth, and transition. I am also a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, as well as an Expressive Arts Therapist from The CREATE Institute of Toronto.

At Mindset First, my goal is to provide a therapeutic space where clients can explore their mental health, emotional patterns, relationships, and inner world in ways that feel grounded, structured, and safe. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, emphasizing clear therapeutic boundaries and a pace that allows clients to slow down, notice what is emerging, and reconnect with parts of themselves that may have been overlooked or silenced.

I am committed to offering psychotherapy that integrates evidence‑informed practices with expressive‑arts modalities, supporting clients in developing insight, strengthening coping strategies, and building resilience.

Get to Know Antonietta

Antonietta’s work is shaped by decades of supporting individuals and families through growth and life transitions, teaching her to attune to both spoken and unspoken emotional cues. She finds meaning in helping clients reconnect with parts of themselves that have been overlooked or silenced, viewing healing as both cognitive and creative, emerging through imagery, movement, and metaphor. Guided by the belief that every person carries an innate capacity for healing, she approaches therapy collaboratively and compassionately, offering a grounded, safe, and imaginative space for exploration. Clients can expect a compassionate, collaborative, grounded, creative, and attuned environment that supports clarity, resilience, and meaningful change as they reconnect with their own inner strength.

Client Focus

Antonietta works with children, teens, adults, couples, women, veterans, and teachers, offering a therapeutic space that nurtures emotional steadiness, inner expansion, and a strengthened sense of personal agency. She supports clients in cultivating practices that bring clarity and coherence to their emotional lives, encouraging growth through curiosity, expressive‑arts processes, and creative exploration. Her work helps clients reconnect with their strengths, reclaim direction, and make choices that feel aligned with their values and evolving identity. Across all populations, she offers a compassionate, attuned, and imaginative environment where people can widen their sense of possibility and move toward a more grounded, resilient way of living.
