Mindset First Mental Health & Performance Inc. is looking for a compassionate therapist to join our growing team. We provide evidence-based psychotherapy and mental performance services for children, adolescents, and adults in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Position

Independent Contractor
Part-time with opportunity to grow

Administrative, marketing, and referral support

Requirements

Registered with CRPO, OCSWSSW, or another relevant regulatory college
Master’s degree in a related mental health field
Minimum two years of psychotherapy experience
Availability for at least one weekday evening and one weekday daytime (Saturday is an asset)

Experience with evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, EFT, IFS, ACT, OCD treatment, play therapy, or trauma-focused therapies is considered an asset.

We’re looking for a collaborative, client-centred therapist who enjoys working with children and adults and is committed to ongoing professional growth.

Mental Performance Consultant

We are seeking a qualified Mental Performance Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate must:

Be a certified member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA)
Hold the official title of Mental Performance Consultant (MPC)
Have a Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Sport Psychology, or Psychotherapy)

Student Practicum Therapist

We are seeking Master’s-level practicum students to join Mindset First Mental Health & Performance Inc. Through our Affordable Therapy initiative, students gain meaningful clinical experience, supportive supervision, and exposure to private practice operations.

The ideal candidate must:

Be enrolled in a Master’s level CRPO-accredited program, or equivalent
Have completed the required coursework by the time practicum begins
Be available for at least 1 evening per week and Saturdays
Be reflective, collaborative, client-centered, and open to feedback

Students will receive onboarding support, training in case conceptualization and treatment planning, weekly supervision, free group supervision, and experience supporting clients with anxiety, stress, relationships, life transitions, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and more. Approved placements require vulnerable-sector screening.
