Get to know Stephanie Rizzo
She approaches psychotherapy through a strengths-based lens, believing that every individual holds innate resilience, wisdom, and potential for growth. Rather than focusing solely on problems or diagnoses, she helps clients recognize and build upon their existing strengths, using them as powerful tools for healing and self-discovery. Her work is guided by the belief that meaningful change happens in the context of a safe, collaborative, and compassionate therapeutic relationship. She values authenticity, curiosity, and connection, and strives to create an environment where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. What drives her is the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they navigate challenges, reclaim their voice, and reconnect with what matters most to them. Clients can expect a warm, empathetic presence and a thoughtful, personalized approach that honors their unique experiences. For her, the most rewarding part of this work is witnessing clients begin to trust in their own strength and step into their lives with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
Client Focus
She works with children, teens, and adults, supporting clients through a wide range of emotional, relational, and developmental challenges. Her clients often include individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and performance-related stress. Whether she’s working with a child learning to manage big emotions, a teen exploring their identity, or an adult seeking deeper connection and clarity, she tailors her approach to meet each person’s unique needs and strengths.
Her philosophy toward mental health and performance is grounded in the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery. She views mental wellness as an ongoing journey—not the absence of struggle, but the presence of resilience, self-compassion, and purpose. With a strengths-based, empowering approach, she helps clients reconnect with their inner resources, challenge limiting beliefs, and develop the tools they need to thrive. Her goal is to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel safe to be themselves and inspired to grow into who they are becoming.
