Client Focus

Lesley takes a person-centered, non-judgemental approach with individuals and couples. She uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Shame Resilience, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Self-Compassion, Mindfulness, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work. Her warm, supportive demeanor provides a safe and welcoming environment allowing individuals to build strength and resilience to reframe their thinking and create a more balanced and fulfilled life.

Experience

Lesley has experience working with individuals, couples, and groups, with a specific focus on anxiety, stress, depression, women’s mental health, relationship challenges, parenting, life transitions, grief, and OCD.

Lesley earned her bachelor and master’s degrees in Social Work at the University of Waterloo. She is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
